Chapter Roster Rules
"You may review, download and/or print one copy of the Roster but you may not make more than one copy of such content, modify it in any way, distribute it or transmit it to any person or company, frame or otherwise display any of the content on your own or any other web site or make any other use of it, except in situations where this information is to be used for the requirements of typical Society and Chapter functions. You may not distribute any part of it over any network, including a local area network, nor sell it, nor offer it for sale.

When using this Roster to obtain email addresses of your ASSE chapter members, any subsequent email communications you send to those ASSE members obtained from the Roster must include the following language to comply with the new Federal CANSPAM requirements regarding email solicitation and fair usage:

  1. Clear notice that the recipient has the ability to opt-out of receiving future unsolicited email;
  2. A workable unsubscribe (opt-out) system that makes it simple for recipients to opt-out of receiving future unsolicited email;
  3. Information identifying the email as an advertisement or solicitation (which DOES NOT have to appear in the header or subject line) such as "ADVERTISEMENT" or "MEETING NOTICE", etc.
  4. The sender's physical postal address, or other chapter representative's address.
